The C-7X16 Over Easing w/ Returned End is a handrail fitting — it absorbs a change in direction or pitch so the rail line stays continuous.
Specifications
- Fits standard 6010, 6210 handrail profiles
- Combines an over-easing curve with a built-in returned end
- Eliminates need for a separate returned end fitting
- Sold as individual fitting — handrail not included
- Available in Red Oak
- Used at: top of staircase where rail eases over last riser and terminates with a return
- Series: Traditional (6010), Classic (6210)
- Available Species: Red Oak
- Available in volume quantities for contractor and trade orders
Installation
- Dry-fit before glue-up — fittings are cut to final angle on site
- Join with a rail bolt and glue, then plug and sand as one piece
- Order in the same species and series as the rail it mates to
